HTC Zeta – 2.5GHz Quad Core Monster!
HTC will be introducing yet another 720p HD native resolution bearing handset which is currently under development with codename Zeta. This HTC smartphone has a 4.5 inch massive display and houses a quad-core 2.5 GHz processor.
Engadget was tipped with the HTC Zeta’s photo with other essential details. We expect HTC to show off its large screen smartphones HTC Zeta and HTC Edge running quad-core mobile processors at the Consumer Electronics Show 2012 or may be after that.
The Mobile Indian reported about the HTC Edge smartphone with 4.7-inch display and quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 mobile processor. While we assumed this would be the only quad-core smartphone initially from HTC, details about Zeta have arrived now.
The HTC Zeta comes in a unique and different design that will make it stand out from current lineup of smartphones. The Zeta houses a quad-core 2.5 GHz Qualcomm APQ8064 mobile processor that will power the monstrous smartphone along with the 1 GB RAM. HTC has used a 4.5 inch touchscreen display that has 720p HD native resolution. The smartphone will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with the HTC Sense UI 4.0 layered on top of it.
HTC Zeta will have a 32 GB onboard storage and will feature Beats Audio technology built-in for better music quality with the Beats earphones. At the back lies an 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash which is capable of recording 1080p HD video. There’s a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera for video calling as well. In terms of physical design, HTC has brought its signature unibody design for the back.
These handsets — Zeta and Edge, will also mark the debut of HTC Sense UI 4.0 user interface along with the Android 4.0 update. As of now, there are no concrete details about the launch, pricing and approximate availability of these smartphones.
