@Day – Exactly. I do believe that there is still a lot of potential that Google didn’t explore in their strategies. It took second generation iPhone to land in Malaysia. It was brought in by force just like some of our friends at LegenDroid.com did. They are confident with their product, but yet they didn’t trust their own selling policies. Least that I expect now, after this collaboration with telcos, Nexus One will be brought into more countries. I really hope so.

@adrive – Exactly! I really hope they have something really big down their sleeve. I have a feeling that instead of marketing Nexus One, they are marketing Froyo instead. Its the only logical explanation that soothes the soul for now.

I was sad when i heard about the announcement. It’s as if google has not done enough marketing research for countries like malaysia…where our telcos don’t really have locked devices until recently. People like us have always been buying unlocked devices…originally by limiting it to singapore, hk and us, that was already a bad move. Now, by totally shutting it down makes it even worse!!! Why can’t they just expand it to more countries, and also start selling them to retails at the same time?

This way, it’ll meet demands of both emerging markets and existing ones. It just beats me.

true. they should have just made it open to other countries. I don’t know what they’re scared of because if Apple can make a vast move with marketing strategy, so does Google.
I fiddled with a friend’s Nexus One before and all I could say is the phone is just amazingly fun. I love the multi-tasking capabilities! Makes everything faster!

Its a pleasure to have you here! I didnt expect to get a reply from you though. I’ve learn’t most of IE hacks from your site! Well, I tested out the code just recently. It appears that after IE bypasses the element after the semicolon, it continues reading the rest of the CSS file! Give it a shot Big John! I’d love to see this becoming another theory of fixing CSS. You’re well known in identifying these hacks.

Shahz, I guess this does make it possible to css-hack for IE, but I’ve been burned before like this. It seems a bit risky to go back to css hacks after the safety of CC’s, but if someone wants to take that chance, well…

I also wonder if other browsers will remain stable in this case or might suddenly stop parsing the css like IE.

well, .LRC is actually simple text which is saved as .LRC but it has its own format to be applied. This is just like a HTML file which is actually a txt file, but saved as .htm or .html and has its own formats. As for LRC files, you may want to check this site out on how to make them:

Worked for one of thier companies in the UK in 2006. It was terrible. Fair play to all the people that do make it as owners and succeed (especially with no qualifications) because they had to work extrmely hard to get where they are bt the companies need to be real. They need to stop advertising for business management training and summer work as seperate jobs when really they’re all the same – door to door slavery. I, like many was not told that it was door to door sales, I found out when I was on the field at the observation day. Even worse, I couldn’t leave because they brainwashed us, constantly drumming in the information that within ayear we would have our own company. At one point I forgot about uni and considered leaving my studies to commit to the company. I wasn’t even making money and for some odd reason, I had earnt £4 for hard graft! They ripped me off big time! If I was lucky I would make £30 a week and i’dbe buzzin as if it was a good thing. My family and friends persuaded me to leave but I didn’t listen as guess what, the owners and assistants owners were like so not listen to them, you’ve got to follow your dreams bla bla bla. The experiances outlined are almost identical to mine and many others who have now parted from the company. This is not the only report about Cobra on the website there are many others and also other websites where former employees have voiced thier experiances. I see people from companies under the cobra group from time to time in thier lovely suits getting excited for a day of working for extortion. When I see them, I can’t help but pity them, as they’re wasting thier lives.

the song in my friendster is my 2nd desired song (i find it in mp3 search)..my 1st song was korean song originally from my media player..when i wanted to convert to get code and then paste it in url box, the statement like this came up “Sorry, do not understand by server(something like that)”.. it cannot be helped?

well, the webupload should be compatible with mac systems..maybe you can try another browser? so far we havent had problems uploading using mac systems though..try clearing your cache too..that might help..

Hello there baby..
Well, yeah, the Desktop Application is only for Windows based systems. It doesnt work with MAC. However, you can use their web-uploader instead to upload those files and that should do the trick. Instead of using the desktop uploader, use the webuploader..cheers~ :)

From what I see, I believe we can get it done with CSS codes. I’ll dig into the code and let you know how to make it. The thought of copyright passed my mind, but other songs that i ripped directly off cds worked so i thought that wasn’t it.

You were also correct on the bitrate. Shortly after my last post i found a converter called Total Audio Converter, i found it on download.com and it has a 30 day trial. I have found that if i convert the songs from my itunes music folder rather than trying to do wma’s they work flawlessly when i upload them.

Phew..Now I understand what's the problem with it! The song that you are trying to upload is copyright protected. Go to the properties of the song and check out the "Protected" property of the file. It says YES. No wonder some of the songs u tried to play were playable and some were not. Well, use noteburner to remove the copyright and to my prediction, the song will be playable. Otherwise, try getting the same song from other source. That should do the trick :D

I downloaded that and it wont let me add my songs by The Devil Wears Prada. It will only let me add the songs that already work. So i’m searching for another one with no luck so far. Just about to give it.. shouldn’t be this hard to make a simple flash mp3 player and upload a couple songs.

Oh, that's simple..You just need an audio converter to do the job. For this, I'd recommend you the 4music mp3 to mp3 converter. Just use the trial and convert your songs to the bitrate I stated above. Before that, you can check the bitrate of your mp3 file by right clicking the song file on your computer -> Properties -> Summary -> Advanced. It will be right there at the bottom. Suit your bitrate to what i stated above and test the song. (Although I usually put lower bitrates for quick loading in Flash) :) Good Luck. Keep us updated..

I believe for this case, its the bitrate of the song that you’re trying to play that needs authoring. Try changing the bitrate to the same as those songs that are playable. I believe 128kbps / 44kHz will work at all. Do you need help on conversion?
